Watts up Solar came from a recommendation from a trusted source. They were very easy to work with. The strength of the paperwork along the way with various insurances was extremely comprehensive. There was one minor hiccup along the way which was dealt with promptly and extremely courteously. Detailed explanation of how to use App and manage settings together with useful knowledge of specialist providers regarding export to grid.

Scaffolding was arranged and put up a few days pre installation. The relatively large installation took 3 guys plus the manager on and off, 3 days. It was noisy! The guys installing were great; very polite, hard working and friendly. There was a technical hiccup meaning that the user interface to the system was delayed by a few days but that was no issue, the solar worked. The manager took us through a simple system to enable us to have oversight of the input/output. All in all great job, done very professionally. I don't think it was cheap but certainly quality and competitively priced.
TN32 Solar PV, Battery & EV Charger
Our home is electric only so we are very conscious of the high electric costs, especially through the winter, experienced so we approached both national suppliers and Watts Up Solar for quotes for both solar and battery storage. The national suppliers came up with the package we wanted (black panels, Tesla Powerwall etc.) at a good price point but this was soundly beaten by Watts Up. Our preference was to go with local suppliers and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.The install took a week and Louis, Andy and Kevin all managed everything including scaffolding. No disruption for ourselves apart from tea/coffee making! Everything was installed professionally and we are very happy with the solar panels which Kevin recommended over the ones we had originally asked for.The switch on after the week installing went perfectly and the whole system has proved to be everything we wanted. The solar is exported for income and the batteries charge up at cheap rate overnight with the house running off them during the day. We have yet to run out of battery power in the evening as at this time of writing in late November. Interesting also to see when there was a cold snap the battery took a bit of the solar export and powered the house for a while to balance supply so that there was no need to use the expensive day rate. Our monthly DD has dropped from hundreds to tens of pounds per month and I need to reduce it further as we have a fair surplus now.Combined with an EV charger this will provide energy security for many years to come. We are very pleased and highly recommend Kevin and Watts Up.
